Hi, and welcome to Embrace Photography!

I’m Fiona, but once you get to know me, you’ll probably just call me Fi 😊

For me, authentic human connection is the heart of what I do!

I believe the best photographs happen when you feel completely comfortable being yourself. Beautiful images are important, but I believe the connection you have with your photographer is just as important.

I want you to feel at ease, trust me and know that you don’t have to be perfect or know how to pose. I’ll gently guide you when you need it, while giving you the space to laugh, play, cuddle and simply be yourselves.

Because when you stop worrying about the camera, you can be truly present with the people you love. And that’s what I love to capture, the connection, laughter, little expressions and moments that make you uniquely you.

For me, photography is about more than taking a beautiful photograph. It’s about creating something that takes you right back to how you felt in that moment and turning those memories into beautiful artwork you’ll love seeing on your walls for years to come.

I’ve been a professional photographer for over 19 years, since graduating from TAFE SA with an Advanced Diploma in Photography (Commercial) in 2007. Over the years, I’ve had the absolute pleasure of photographing weddings, newborns, families, children, events and some pretty wonderful business people along the way.

My love for photography began while travelling overseas in my 20s, when I discovered just how much I loved capturing people, places and moments. Somewhere along the way, I realised this was what I wanted to do with my life — and here I am, all these years later, still doing what I love.

I’m a real people person, and for me, that’s what photography has always been about. Making you feel comfortable, creating a genuine connection and capturing something that feels truly you.

There’s nothing I love more than seeing a client’s face light up when they see their photographs for the first time. That feeling is still what drives me.
